iRacing Arcade Coming to Steam This Fall, Hitting Consoles in 2026 – GTPlanet

iRacing Studios has unveiled iRacing Arcade, a one-size-fits-all approach that makes iRacing appealing to all, and it’s coming first to PC this fall.

The title has been in development in partnership with small Vancouver-based studio Original Fire Games, responsible for Circuit Superstars (and the almost-abandonware Karting Superstars), for just over a year and looks set to combine iRacing’s content with Circuit Superstars‘ cutesy style.

According to the early blurb, iRacing Arcade takes officially licensed cars and tracks and blends them with “playful art and fun physics”, creating an experience that’s more inviting to newcomers and veterans alike. It’s certainly an unexpected addition to the iRacing franchise, but it’s taking itself more seriously than the name, and the promise of “over-the-top” arcade racing, lets on.

While a bit of a wild departure from its bigger, sim-focused brother, iRacing Arcade will still root itself in competition. Players will be responsible for building their motorsport legacy by competing in weekly events across licensed series to earn resources and boosts. Said earnings will then be used to expand player facilities, unlock research, and add new cars, drivers, and customization options.

It appears then, that iRacing Arcade is adopting a GRiD-like approach to its gameplay style, as players will essentially be building a career from almost nothing and working their way through the ranks. Whether it be the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup or the 963 LMDh Prototype blazing a lap around the likes of Imola or Autódromo Hermanos Rodriguez, players can have their fix and then some.

The physics model is touted as being easy to pick up but “endlessly rewarding” to master, as players sink their teeth into improving their skills and knocking tenths off their lap times. Whether you want to stick to the single-player campaign or go for broke and compete against everyone in global time attacks, iRacing Arcade has you covered.

At the moment there’s only hints as to the content included, with iRacing only naming the two Porsches and two circuits above. However we can also see the what looks like the Ray FF1600 in one promo image, and the obvious Barber Motorsports Park spider sculpture at the Charlotte’s Web complex.

PC players will get the first shout, but iRacing Arcade will hit consoles in early 2026 too, making it the first title with iRacing in the game to do so. Should this all pique your interest, head on over to the Steam page and wishlist it, and stay tuned for more as it’s revealed!
